The traditional (or should I say "old style") investing. That is
what the bulk of the brokers promote. Problem is, what happens
if the market continues to drop? What if you watch your

Call options you can generate extra cash today when you add

these transactions with your broker, similar to buying and
selling stocks. How can Covered Calls lock in profits? For
example: Let's say you've been considering the purchase of a U.S
stock selling for $11 a share. You could buy 1,000 shares of
that stock at $11 a share and get paid $1.80 a share for a call
option with a $10 strike (target) price. You could receive
$1,800 today as sort of an "advance payment" on potential future
stock profits. On a 33-day investment, the yield could be 8.7%.
